THERAPEUTIC RATIONALE

Childhood growth is a phase of enormous changes in the metabolic activities, resulting in rapid overall growth in body including Physical, Intellectual and Emotional.

MaryKIDS+ liquid provides the essential nutrients that typically meet the nutritional requirements (apart from the normal diet) of growing kids. It promotes growth by supplementing the nutritional deficiencies and optimizing the biological needs of cells and tissue. Vitamins-B are essential cofactors in the normal and proper metabolism of ingested foods. It helps release energy required for growth and other various activities of life. Vitamins A, C & E have have antioxidant properties and boost immunity. Vitamin D regulates the calcium & phosphorous levels in the body and promotes bone mineralization and bone formation. It also has immuno-modulatory roles and Iron is crucial for increasing mental alertness and attention span. Magnesium is an essential component of nucleic acids and many enzymes involved in metabolic process. Zinc and Magnesium are essential components of nucleic acids and many enzymes involved in metabolic process. L-lysine is an essential amino acid that helps in the formation of proteins.

PACKING:

Each pack contains 200 ml of MaryKIDS+ liquid in PET bottle with measuring cap for exact dose administration.

INDICATION:

For all round development of growing children. To minimize the incidences of infections in growing children.

DOSAGE INFANTS:

Half teaspoonful twice a day. Children (1 to 4 year): 1 teaspoonful twice a day. Children (4 to 12 year): 1 teaspoonful thrice a day. Or as directed by the Physician.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: MaryKIDS liquid is contraindicated in patients having hypersensitivity. to any of its components & in those with hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis.

 

PRECAUTIONS:

Those on warfarin should be cautious in using high doses of Vitamin E and if they do use such likewise, those with Vitamin k deficiencies, such as those with liver failure, should be cautious in using high doses of Vitamin E. Vitamin E should be used with extreme caution in those with any lesions that have a propensity to bleed (e.g., bleeding peptic ulcers), those with a history of hemorrhagic stroke and those with inherited bleeding disorders (e.g., hemophilia).

Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid supplemental doses of Vitamin E higher than RDA amounts.
